Job Description
	Marine Engineer Job Summary Locations – Fort Lauderdale, FL Theodore, AL Job Type – Full Time Resolve Marine Group, Inc. is seeking a knowledgeable Marine Engineer. The ME will be in charge of vessel systems maintenance, repair, operation as well as modifications including but not limited to hydraulics, electrical, and pumps. The ideal candidate will possess the below qualifications: Qualifications: • B.S. in Marine Engineering • 5 years working experience as a marine engineer with merchant vessels • Work experience as technical superintendent a plus • Good knowledge of large diesel engines • Working knowledge of all other ships machinery systems and their repair requirements • Familiarity in certification requirements for vessels • Ability to work autonomously • Ability to travel at moment’s notice for emergency situations • Total travel required: up to 40% • Professional demeanor; ability to use appropriate levels of tact and courtesy. • Strong time management skills; able to handle multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines. • Crisis management; work well under pressure, act quickly and decisively using sound judgment. • Passport and Driver’s License • Strong communication skills, English as a primary language EOE M/F Send resume and copy of credentials to: employ@resolvemarine.com No phone calls please.
